Bio

David is a 2006 graduate of Sartell High School and was twice an all conference baseball player for the Sabres. He played his first college season at Ridgewater College, helping the Warriors to a 7th place finish at the JUCO World Series.

David's first season with the Muskies was limited to 1 outing due to health problems. His second Muskie season was stellar; he posted a 4-2 record with a 2.55 ERA, striking out 94 batters in 60 innings.

David transferred to SCSU for his sophomore year and earned honorable mention all-NCC honors pitching for the Huskies. His junior season was even better, as he was named All-NSIC first team after posting a 7-1 record with 3.12 ERA.

Near the end of the '08 Muskie season David was signed to play for the St. Cloud Riverbats and impressed during his 2 starts. He went 1-1 with a 1.59 ERA. He played the full 2009 season with the River Bats and was named a Northwoods League All-Star.

David played sparingly for the Muskies in 2009 but enough to be playoff eligible. He was drafted by the St. Cloud Orthopedic Sports Ice for the state tournament and helped them win the state title, throwing a 3-hit shutout in the state semifinal.

David is now a teacher at Madison Elementary and coaches baseball at Apollo High School.
